Pet Trichomonas Antigen Rapid Test
This product is used for rapid screening of trichomonas antigens in cats, dogs and various birds, and can be used for auxiliary diagnosis of Trichomonas infection in pets.
Trichomonas is a protozoa. When birds are infected with Trichomonas, Trichomonas is mainly affected in the upper respiratory tract of birds, and is especially affected in the mucosal surface of sinuses, mouth, throat, esophagus and taste sac. The expression of appetite, mental exhaustion, crop collapse, neck often stretched as swallowing, eyes with watery secretions, difficulty in closing the mouth, light green to light yellow mucus flowing out of the mouth, and emitting a foul smell.
When cats and dogs are infected with Trichomonas, it can cause diarrhea symptoms in cats and dogs.Trichomonas can proliferate in mucus on the surface of the ileum, cecum, and colon mucosa, and can produce toxins that cause inflammation.A small percentage of dogs and cats infected with Trichomonas may experience systemic symptoms such as anorexia, fever, vomiting, and weight loss.
The common symptoms of Trichomonas infection are chronic or recurrent diarrhea, accompanied by a foul odor.Defecation has a small amount of soft fluid, and the frequency of defecation increases, defecation effort, mucus and blood in the stool also increase.
Fecal incontinence and flatulence may occur.
Currently, the clinical tests for Trichinella infection are microscopic examination, fecal culture, and PCR. The use of immunochromatographic assays to aid in detection allows for rapid screening for suspected Trichinella infections.
